Tarcoles
Tarcoles is a small fishing town between Orotina and Jaco Beach that best known for it's amazing seafood, and the so-called "crocodile bridge" where many tourists stop to take pictures of the many huge crocks that swim below in the Tarcoles river. Noted more for fishing than it is for, tourism unlike it's close neighbor, Jaco, it's quite common to see fishing boats out in the ocean at all hours of the day that supply the several restaurants along the main coastal highway that serve whole fish, ceviche, large shrimp, squid, lobster and much more, as fresh as it can be.
